10 Halifax Siege Battery CFA
Well it has been quite some time since I was able to post something new here. I just received a World War One pair that came with the following insignia.
A numeral 10 and Halifax Title. I have done no research into this insignia as yet. Hopefully someone here will have a little insight into these. When my man joined the CEF, in December 1916, he attested to No 10 Halifax Siege Battery.

10th Halifax Siege Battery
That would be 10th Halifax Siege Battery CGA (Canadian Garrison Artillery) not CFA (Canadian Field Artillery).

Hi Wyn, of it would be. This is what happens when I post in haste. His medals are named as CFA. It never entered my mind at the time that No 10 Seige Battery is CGA.
