Default Pevencey Local Militia Button

Hi Chaps,

This little beauty arrived today and for sure put a smile on my face, so wanted to share it.

Local Militia button to Pevencey. Really heavily domed/convex with lovely early backmark of 'Firmin & Westall Strand'.

Cheerio,

Roy

Beautiful button Roy.

My father was born in Pevensey and I used to play in the castle when I was a kid.

I'm quite jealous

Thanks Gents,

I had to look this one up as I had never heard of Pevencey before.

Cheerio,

Roy

Hi Roy,

I was disapointed at first not to have won this myself as it falls within my collecting sphere and I had some great times in Pevensey as a teenager but I'm really glad that it's gone to a good home and thanks for sharing the photos.

KR,

Pete
