Default Devonshire officers - collar or other
Hi All,

recently purchased as an officers collar badge, but not sure if it is...do collars have this type fastening ? maker marked ' Ludlow ' and stamped sterling.

It may be a private purchase collar with a pin fitting to allow for easy removal and cleaning. Have a close look to see if it is an adaption too. May be signs of two previous lugs.

A nice small badge, perhaps for the Mess Dress collar or FS cap? No sign of previous lugs that I can see.

It seems quite poor quality and the central castle is not squarely aligned with the crown.
