Default Hampshire rgt uniform question

These three items came together ,The tunic and mess jacket are named as shown but I would like to know what the vest is, Despite a look through 2 sets of dress regulations I hav'nt come up with an answer, The collar has studs for the detatchable white collar, Kevin

A beautiful set of uniforms! The vest is of the type worn with stand collar style Mess Dress jackets as opposed to the roll collar type which you have.
It may have belonged to an earlier version of the Hampshire Regt. Mess dress, another Territorial Bn., or perhaps have nothing to do with the other the Hants uniforms at all and just found its way into the group.

The black braid on scarlet is certainly unusual. Perhaps it comes from a Yeomanry unit. There is a special MHS publication on their mess uniforms.

I would be very grateful for any better photos of the tunic and jacket that you might have, preferably with the buttons fastened.
