Default R.D. Division Plaque and Scroll

Just acquired this framed plaque and scroll in the local auction. The items are in a heavy bronze frame and have a Liverpool connection but unfortunately not quite in my field of collecting.

The following details are from the CWGC website:

Rank:
Able Seaman
Service No:
R/4184
Date of Death:
03/02/1918
Age:
37
Regiment/Service:
Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve

Hawke Bn. R.N. Div.
Grave Reference:
VI. E. 3A.
Cemetery:
MONT HUON MILITARY CEMETERY, LE TREPORT
Additional Information:
Son of Thomas and Mary Morris, of Litherland, Liverpool; husband of Phyllis Morris, of "Lynwood," 26, Childwall, Priory Rd., Broad Green, Liverpool.

I am sure this will find a good home.

Peter
To add a little more detail:-
He died in the 3rd general hospital in Le Tréport from Nephritis. Prior to ww1 he had served with the 10th (TF) Battalion of the Liverpool Regiment for four years. He was conscripted 6/6/17 and entered service with the RND 26/6/17. He departed for service in France 18/10/17 and joined Hawke battalion 13/11/17. He served with them until 12/1/18 when he was evacuated to 150th (RN) field ambulance suffering from ICT (?) left foot. He was born 1/8/1880 his next of kin was his wife Phyllis , his home address on enlistment was 12 uppingham road west derby, Liverpool.
Hope that helps
Regards
PL
