If you look in your DHY collection and pull out this one.... then yes... its a Jennens. Compare that to your first two in the above post #13 and you will see the difference.

Griff I have had all my Jennens badges out and compared them and I have no doubt whatsoever about the manufacture of the badges.

I have them in hand and can clearly see the wider crown detail that is indicative of Jennens with the taller narrower crown used by Gaunt. The Firmin one differs in that it is a deeper and more pronounced strike but closer to Gaunt in style.

Griff, I owe you an apology.
Looking at them again in the cold light of day I can clearly see that the first two in post 13 are in fact Gaunt pattern badges. Very obvious from the rear but I should have picked it up from the front as well. So the only Jennens pattern s&g is the first one in post 12. I will amend the posts to reflect this.
As the old rugby ditty goes - "There's none so blind as cannot see as the man who's got ..." and no I haven't.
