Default opinions on this colour patch

hi all
i would like your opinions on this colour patch.
the material looks wrong. not sure about it

Hi bc, I wouldn't condemn it yet. Too neatly machine sewn to be the normal run of the mill space filler or fake, and too low value to bother faking anyway.

Carefully check the grey background for evidence of holes where it might have been removed from another patch - if it appears original to the patch them it is almost certainly a keeper.

Hard to tell without it in the hand but there were so many variations of cloth and so many manufacturers, its hard to get your head around sometimes.
