Default 6th Inniskilling Dragoons

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what this badge is.

It is made of a thin tin sheet with rectangular lugs that have round holes.

Size is 41mm high and 43 mm wide at the scroll.

Many Thanks

Chris

Default ref 6th ID badge pictures

Hello,
The back looks exactly the same as a number of badges that I have bought as copies/restrikes for reference purposes. It looks like it has been subjected to heat.

Rgds, David

It's a 6th Skins Dragoons but a bad copy IMO. Voided windows are correct as is the brick count in the centre tower but the metal type is unknown to me, which makes me believe it is a re-strike. Right characteristics, wrong metal.

Thanks Guys,

I thought this was a piece of crap too being similar to items passed as staybrite originals.

Thanks for the input here.

Regards

Chris

Dont be too hasty to bin it. Clearly it is not a proper cap or arm badge and may as suspected be a crude restrike copy as there's some really bad ones...

However the lugs on this one and the thin cheap lightweight metal mean this could just be probably a disgarded display decoration piece from a mess item or cake covering etc
