Help to identify an unknown title ALIB
Hi all
A mate has just picked this tile up and believes it's Australian army but I can't work out what it could be. I've seen it before in another collection but can't remember who had it or what it was meant to be. The letters are ALIB Thanks in advance BC |

Hi BC,
I wish I could help but have no idea whatsoever. Sounds like an interesting prospect though. Good luck old chap Cheerio, Roy

I was thinking maybe Australian & "Light Infantry Battalion" simply because there was a Torres Straits Light Infantry Battalion.
But then I'm left guessing at "A" (Australian, Adelaide, Aboriginal....) |

I think it might have more chance of being something as mundane as Australian Ladies Indoor Bowls than Australian Lads Infantry Brigade! One of those respected dealers tried to sell me one of those titles with a similar description many years ago, I have no regret in knocking it back.
