First off I'm not a collector of Y&L badges but based on my knowledge of London Regiment titles I quite like the look of the one in the opening post which looks to be hand cut and certainly not a mass produced reproduction.

Attached are a few odd looking London ones I have, proof that examples do exist, a couple with sharp serifs.
