Cool Makers marks

Shootinfishin,

When you first posted this thread you made the comment "No makers mark", this is not uncommon with badges pre 1945, in actual fact most pre 1945 other ranks badges had no makers marks, the exceptions were officer's badges which were generally named and WWI Lambourne badges, which sadly have now been faked by the unscrupulous.

This is only an opinion, but one that has been based on many years of collecting.
