New to me. Not many Indian units actually used a tiger badge. Maybe a Bengali Presidency veterans organization?

perhaps worth dropping a line to the Indian Ex-Servicemen's Organization? http://www.iesm.org/

Thank you for the pointer. Leads to a (paper) tiger hunt.
L scores over T in:
(a) Population - currently seems that the IA has a Tiger on the
Dogra badge and a Fmn sign. Looking for others and C-W countries.
The Royal Leicestershire, Hampshire Regts; a few others. Mostly L's
(b) Power - The 1808 Seringipatnam medal shows a Br. Lion
mauling an upturned Tiger. The 1826 Burma Medal shows the
Burmese Elephant in kow tow to a Br Lion. The 1842 China Medal
has a Br. Lion trampling the Chinese Dragon. The 1896 BCAS medal
doesn't have clear msg though - has a charging African (?) or Br Lion
impaled on a spear.

The AFI had a Tiger on quite a few badges - EBR Bn, EB R, ABR Bn, MVR,
- still on the trail.

Yes, most of the tigers were AFI, not regular units, at least as far as unit badges go. Formation signs are a whole other topic!
