Hi Ry.

All I can offer on this conundrum is this: my badges to 6th Tower Hamlets, (as seen in this album), have the same central device of 8 pointed stars and Tower Hamlets garter.

The cypher may be CB, (the C looking very similar to the C in early Army Service Corps items) possibly Church Brigade, leading to a possible Tower Hamlets Church Brigade item..........................if such a unit existed..............I can't find any reference to such a group.....nor Boys club nor Boxing Club.

Somebody will know mate.

Regards
Brian

Hi Ry again.

Civvy maybe, but that creates another question to be answered: did the Civvy organisation adopt the military style insignia, or was it the other way round?

I'm hoping that, Keith, may be able to help with this one.

Regards again and thanks for the compliment on the album, it's much appreciated and makes it all worth while.

Speak soon.
Regards
Brian
