Default large 1st Gurkha badge question

Very happy that this is a good badge, die struck , not usual WW2 pattern
is it pouch or Kilmarnock? and what period regards Kevin

Hi ya,
Its a kilmarnock badge worn 1911-1938. It was also worn by bandsmen and orderlies on the card case. The example I have seen on a period case used the lugged version, not screw posts.

I reckon people left it as there are a lot of Gurkha fakes about but I liked the nice build up of yellow solder. Im'e after a 4G title at the moment, Kev
