United Nations Interm Force Lebanon HQ Shoulder Title - Canadian?
Hi guys, I picked this up today as it looked "special" Any ideas out there? Canada was involved in the United nations Interim Force in Lebanon only in the very beginning of the mission. Troops were pulled from existing UNEF 2 and UNDOF cadres. This shoulder title looks Canadian/British and as I've never seen it before, I had to have it. Has anyone and info on this title?

Yes this is Irish.
In the early years of UNIFIL , Ireland supplied an Infantry Battalion and a component for the mission Headquarters in Naqoura. This is the shoulder title of the latter, I believe the component served from April 1979 - Oct 1979 http://www.irishmilitaryinsignia.com...ash_index.html John |
