King's Own Malta Regiment, is it fake?
Hi guys,
I currently have the following badge listed on ebay, I bought it from a dealer as genuine a few years ago. I have been emailed, through ebay, to tell me that this badge is reproduction. I have changed the listing, but can anybody confirm that its a fake? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3306101416...84.m1555.l2649 Thanks Phil

Hi Phil,
I wouldn't go as far as saying it is a fake but genuine items have 4 pins coming through to the back from the white metal cross. Cheers, Tinto |

Cheers Tinto,
There are no pins, also been pointed out that the cross is not embossed, so I will leave the listing as it is now. There is a watcher so, I will watch that space. Thanks Phil

Hi Phil,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this one is a dud as well mate: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rifle-Brig...item4cf9e6e825 The void above the PCO scroll and the "." London MM are the tell tales. Regards Ry |

Hi Ry
Yeah I know, thats why its going. I replaced it with a nice lugged example. I have said in the description that the maker mark etc is believed to be repro. Cheers Phil
