Default Army Cyclist Corps

I have been trying to get an original Cyclist Corps badge for a while now, here are my 4 attempts, the first 3 I bought before I joined this forum

No.1. 15mm Gaunt.London mm fake

No.2. Non voided fake

No.3. 12 spoke not 100% sure why but I think its fake?

No.4. My latest buy, I'm pretty sure this is a good one however the F.E.Woodward mark isn't the usual way up.

So have I learned anything since I joined the forum in January?

Don't worry about the valve, your Woodward badge is fine! (tubless tyres?)

Hi bobbydog

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not convinced the one on the website you mentioned is original, I'm pretty sure their 4th VB Devons badge is fake. I would need to see the back of the cyclist badge before I even took a guess at it.

And then there is the problem of makers variations and different dies.

Regards Rob

Hi Simon

They don't appear to have lots of all GM Scottish badges for sale so they are probably members of this forum

Here is another 12 spoke on Ebay at the moment for £55, note the lopsided voiding

I was under the impression that this badge is a good one and I have seen this type with the missed void before. The price is way out of line though.

Had a quick glance at this site. He needs to show the reverse of his badges - note the Connaught Rangers and the OFFICERS The Artists Rifles. In the main though the infantry badges I looked at seemed OK. Looks to trade on eBay as WF-Medals? Regards, Paul.
