Default 2 Cloth badges good or dud

Hi
Picked up these 2 cloth badges this morning for £1 and am unsure if they are ok but for the price I couldn't not buy them.
The ACF badge appears to be in the colours of the Parachute regiment and looks to have been worn on a uniform from the threads on it's edges.
The 1 Punjab I have no idea about at all and would welcome any opinions as to what age and whether this is post British Empire.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Rob

The ACF badge is fine. There are/were several ACF units affiliated Para who wore the cap badge in a blue beret. I think the Punjab is good too, but demur to others.

Hi
Thanks for the info, what date do you think these badges may be from as I am guessing the ACF is possibly from the 60's but have no idea on the Punjabs one.

They were certainly worn into the mid-90s (ACF coloured titles). There was a drive to make all units wear yellow ACF on scarlet which was initially resisted - but I think was overtaken.

Hi Lee
That's great news you think it's WW2 period.
Thank you very much for the info.

Hi
Thanks for the info, I didn't realise that it could be so late. I just wonder if from the material it's made of it could be possible to tie the period down to when it may date from? It has quite a rough apperance to the material.
