Are these OK? The 17th has @London Badge & Button Co. Ltd.' stamped on the slider.

They look like cap badges to me. I can't see awt wrong with them.

But what do I know?.The South Lancashire (P.W.V's) should have a red cloth backing showing in the voided areas .

The 17/21st lancers badge is called a 'Motto', not a badge (so I believe)

Re the 17th/21st Lancers motto with the London Badge and Button Co name on the slider.

First Bill is in deed correct in that the badge is known as a Motto when it has OR GLORY across the bones, with out the motto it is a badge. The Motto of course being "DEATH OR GLORY."

I have an officers gun metal Motto by L B & B Co, these were issued whilst in Norther Ireland in 1984, l believe that it would follow that there is a white metal, OR's issue as well although l dont have one. I do have an AA collar Motto with LB&B on the back. Is your Motto white metal or AA ?
