For a last today.... not mine but these are available here in Dublin at the moment. Any good badges there and what these would be worth?

Some intriguing Irish defence forces insignia there, assuming they are genuine and not reproductions by people like ;Old Club Badges".

"Com A , 7 Cn Cois": Shoulder title, A Coy. 7 Inf Bn c. 1962 -1967 , Based in Mc Kee Bcks , Dublin. Not reproduced to my knowledge and probably highly desirable to an IDF collector
"6 Irish Inf GRP" - served in Cyprus with UN, UNFICYP, Apr 66 - Oct 66
"11 Irish Inf Grp" - Cyprus UNFICYP Aug 68 -Mar 69.
"41 Inf Bn" , UNFICYP, Oct 1964 – Mar 1965

I have not seen these titles reproduced yet but I am 20 years out of this collecting scene.

Hi
No.3 is the South African Signal Corps, you can just make out the S & A each side of Jimmy's feet.
N0.4 is a pair of RAF Territorial Volunteer Reserve collars.
The embroidered badge is Royal Army Ordnance Corps, either an officers beret or side cap badge.
Cheers,
Alex

Here are few more that I don't know. Also value of these.

Royal Berkshire badge is missing the lugs and also 1 and 3 (No.3 had screw posts on the back). I still think these will look nice on the display.

Thank you very much guys for your help (and all who sent me messages with detailed info!)

1. North Irish Horse
2. North Irish Horse
3. North Irish Horse button
4. Tank Corps post 1953 (??????)
5. Rank Insignia - CSM (??????)
6. RIC (??????)
7. Tank Corps
8. Tank Corps
9. Tank Corps
10. Tank Corps
11. Tank Corps
12. Royal Irish Fusiliers (officer?????)
13. Royal Irish Rangers (??????). looks very modern piece
14. Royal Irish Fusiliers collar
15. Royal Irish Rangers. Looks like modern one again
16. Royal Irish Fusiliers
17. Royal Irish Fusiliers
18. North Irish Horse
19. North Irish Horse
20. North Irish Horse
21. Royal Irish Regiment
22. Royal Irish Regiment
23. Irish Guards

Re post 48 - be careful there are several fakes there

No. 12 is not Royal Irish Fusiliers, looks like a Royal Dragoons collar badge is there a number "108" on the plinth?

No. 13 is the modern Royal Irish Regiment if in silver anodized or silver improved metal. If gold AA was used by the UDR and Royal Irish Regiment. I cannot tell from the photo what the metal and colour are.

No 14. If it has a slider is almost certainly a fake. It shows up pretending to be a WW1 economy cap badge to the R.I.F. or as an officer OSD.

No. 16 & 17 are two more Eagle badges to the Royal Irish Fusiliers to join the thousands more in circulation. No positive confirmation of their use by the regiment and no known sightings of them in use either.

No 21 & 22 are Royal Irish (Ulster) rifles and appear to be fakes looking at the scroll ends.

John

Ok, these three "what ever service they are" (I still don't have full picture) are going now. Just wanted to check what that number behind indicates - is it personal number and in this case are these researchable (in this case this will be a keeper!).

Timo,
As this is a canteen workers badge from WW1 I would doubt if it is researchable.
