Default A Few New Shropshire Items

Hi Gents,

For your interest, here are some new additions to my Shropshire collection.

The Yeomanry button was part of a very hansom group that came via one of our esteemed members. In the group of nine buttons I found two that were variations not yet in my collection. The hansom example shown is one of them.

The next is a splendid and really lovely quality brass KSLI collar badge. This was a recent ebay win and I was especially pleased as it has a small 'Firmin London' plate to the rear. I have quite a number of collar badges but very few are maker marked, so quite pleased to have found this.

Possibly the best for last. A really exceptional quality solid silver die-struck KSLI cap badge. Surprisingly no makers mark but of a type that I previously have not seen. Really wonderful detail, so a wonderful addition.

Cheerio,

Roy

Thanks Andy & Jack,

A lovely bunch and always nice to add new pieces. Yes, the silver cap badge is really splendid, the more I look at it the happier I am. When I get a spare moment I plan to pull out my other silver examples for some nice eye-candy time..

Cheerio,

Roy
