Default 5th Royal Irish Lancers AA butons

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AD02-5RIL-...item4855ff4a92

I have found an ebay seller who is selling, 'Genuine issue 5th Royal Irish Lancers gold anodised aluminium finish buttons for service dress tunics from our MoD approved manufacturer. Each button features a single rear loop fitting. Sold in singles. Size 30 Ligne (19mm diameter). Colour gold anodised finish.'
I did not think I would ever see any 5th Royal Irish Lancers items in AA, I suppose the Dubs & Munsters will be next.
Eddie

The 16th/5th The Queen's Royal Lancers of course. An example of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing perhaps...?

John

Quite right, these are 16/5L buttons but I suspect they are corroded due to being stored in a damp environs. Doubt if sale item ever issued.
