Default MCM to a BSAP Constable

A very scarce Meritorious Conduct Medal (M.C.M.) group to 24146 Constable E. BAJILA.

The M.C.M. was awarded: For brave and gallant conduct over and above the call of duty in a non-combatant capacity.
The award may be made to both civilians and members of the Security Forces.

Only 94 were awarded.

Possibly one of the most aesthetic medals I have owned. Made from bronze while the original ribbon which is almost impossible to find was a deep purple. Stamped on the rim with service number, rank, initials and surname.
Reverse of the medal is plain.

Unfortunately I never found his citation.
