Default Ayrshire Yeomanry, latest pick ups
Hello
Just thought I'd share my latest AY pick ups.
AY WW2 helmet decals, these have been confirmed that they are indeed helmet decals, and very rare.
They were amongst the possessions of a Sgt who served with 151 AY Regt RA.
His daughter kindly let me have a set for my collection, I'm so grateful to her.
There are so few AY WW2 photos that a photo of them being worn would be almost impossible.
My other pick up is a solid chin large of 1923 badge, but note either side of the scroll has not been voided from the wings, unusual.

Nice additions! Oh, I should imagine the helmet transfers are indeed rare and with provenance, too.

Yes, I'm very pleased with them.
I'm endeavouring to get hold of the other AY decal, there is one in GregN's album.

I've not made the new album yet, but I've three additions to my AY other ranks cap badges.
