I was at my local antiques & collectables fair yesterday, where I managed to pick up 6 out of 18 volumes of "Celebrities of the British Army". Each volume features a picture & biography of 4 high ranking officers & though some of you might be interested in seeing the pictures from 1 of the volumes.

I find them fascinating not just from a military perspective but also a social history one, due to the adverts that are printed on the covers.
