Default Unknown WW1 Shoulder slide

Can anyone help identify this please? I'm trying to identify a soldier in a family photo, possibly ASC. He has what appears to be a cloth slide worn on the right shoulder. The only other identification is that he is a LCpl with three overseas stripes and one good conduct stripe. I have scoured the 'net and found no similar photos.

Many thanks

David

Unfortunately not but it looks like a plain white / light coloured stripe and seems odd to be worn on just one shoulder. I've looked at a lot of WW1 photos and can find nothing like it.

Try posting the whole photo. Identification of the uniform or situation can help with these oddities.

The soldier is a LCpl or equivalent with one Good Conduct badge and 3 overseas chevrons. The photo must be later than Jan 1918.
Shoulder slides were used for all manner or purposes, but I do not recognise this one.
