Question FTB Heysham?

About 25 years ago, I picked up an uncut insignia from Camden Passage militaria market. It was in the shape of the 1939-1941 AFS insignia but had 'FTB Heysham' embroidered on it, with the 'T' in larger script. I believe the 'FB' stands for 'Fire Brigade' - but I've always wondered what the 'T' stood for? (Incidentally, this badge has been recently faked/repro-ed)

I wonder if your T may stand for 'training' or 'trainer'.
