R.A.O.C. - Special Badges - A.C.I. 2155/1941
Although R.A.O.C. related, I've place this one here as it deals with cloth 'Specialist' Badges introduced into the R.A.O.C. for those working on Radios and Wireless Sets - ACI 2155 of 1941.
It also appears that prior to this the 'Hammer & Pincers' had been their trade badge - not a reassuring sign if you had to hand your radio or wireless set in for repair

Indeed so, there are so many different versions/colours of this particular circle with flahes badge, and you pointed me in the right direction, as the ACI does not illustrate them!
I now have a copy of the Second Edition with newer badges

R.A.O.C. - Ammunition Examiner - A.C.I. 659/1942
Back to the R.A.O.C. again and another 'new' badge introduced for wear into the Corps, this time for the 'Ammunition Examiner' - ACI 659 of 1942.
