Default Correct 2nd Lancer's (Gardner's Horse) Badge ?

Hiya folks , trying to figure out which one would be the correct 2nd Lancer's pugree/turban badge frm WW 1 ? Upon looking up the N.A.M archives I found 2 of them from the John Chappelle collection. Any thoughts from any person familiar with this?

‘Izzat’ shows the first badge in silver as an Officers, circa 1890, the second with double crossed lances is stated as ‘only officers wore this particular badge, sometime between 1895 and 1903. It was also worn as a collar badge’. The book does not specifically say which badge was worn in WW1, hopefully someone will look it up in ‘Sowars & Sepoys’ for you. Ben

Ashok Nath has a 4 lance badge with just "2 L" in centre as hat badge, a smaller collar badge a 2 lance badge with "2" in centre.

Thanks for the info, guys, I guess both of them might not be pugree badges, although on the N.A.M collection the one with the 2 lances is described as a pugree badge.
