Army PT Badge Size Question
I am working with a friend to help him set up a WW2 Air Landing display and one of he badges he is looking for is a PT badge. I have encountered two size of he badge, list ed as a large badge and then another as a small badge.
I am guessing that the large one is for the side cap and the small one for the beret. If that is correct then I would think my friend would want ot the smaller badge to go on the maroon beret??? Any help or advice is appreciated. Terry |

Found this Terry, it's from the Paradata site.
This chap was Air landing. He's wearing a maroon beret, don't know if you can work out badge size from it? Hope all is well Chris |

Many thnaks Chris! I did a lot of looking before I posted but never found anything. I did find some nice stuff about the first women to earn the maroon beret! I will pass this on to my friend.
You're the best, Thank you again, Terry |

The smaller sized beret badges never appeared until about 1950 to the best of my knowledge. Besides which there has never been a smaller sized version of the APTC cap/beret badge anyway.
