Collar Insignia???

Hi every one,
I did a brief stint at RAF Salalah in 73, I was siggie in TG11, I remember that some personnel who wore leather wrist watch covers had an arabic (crossed swords) insignia on the flap. It was flat and chrome in colour! as well as sewn on at the 4 corners. Are these insignia still current issue as I wish to get my hands on a couple!
