Default Scimitar CVRT model

Thought I would share this as its something I don't normally go for but thought it was such a nice piece and very well made I had to have it.
It comes from an ex serving member,
Malc

YOU ARE NOT ALONE !!!

An excellent find Malcolm, I have had the same sort of thing happen to me, but I think I got a bargain in the deal.

I just couldn't resist this item,

ASC HT Section and GS Wagon WW1

I fell in love the minute I saw it, why I haven't bothered to post images before I'll never know Yes, when something catches your eye (and Heart) nothing can stop you, not even the price. It has been on display since I got it from America (CA)

Thanks for showing your find Malcolm,

You now know YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT ALONE !!!

Very nice Ken, you never know it just might start me in a new area of collecting, here is something else I picked up a few years ago, it came from a mess hall now I use it as a door stop

Cheers
Malc

I love things like this but the memsahib forbids me from buying them. She doesn't want our hovel turned into a shrine to the army. Plus the pigs and chickens would knock ornaments over and break them.

Nice pieces Malc and Ken,

Amongst the Badges, books, headdress, and various other military related items I have on display in 'Mushroom Corner' at home I have this model of a CVRT SPARTAN.

This amongst other AFVs was my ride back in the day. This model used to have a nice wooden plinth with an engraved brass plaque but they were parted from the model when the first Mrs Charlie 585 launched it at me along with my medals one fine Saturday afternoon as I was leaving our quarter for good

The medals went for beer vouchers a long time ago but I'm glad I still have the Spartan.

Happy Days

Ry

I looked at it Keith..... but its not the sort of thing I would buy (or sell for that matter!?) I was half expecting the Motto to be ripped off it..... and flogged as a "rare" broken Bronze from the 17th Lancers of the Great War! Looks like its a cold cast of the Firmin/Dowler anyway.....
