It started at 50 Pence, so you can't blame the seller this time, just people with too much cash!

Yeah, but it ended up at 27 quid. and 2 bidders only.
However, I now know the reason it's an expensive item; after examining all my various Essex shoulder titles I can see there is certainly a difference between this item and those in my collection.................very scarce blue tack. Regards Brian |

Its a good way of making money; buying Territorial Essex Regiment shoulder titles, snapping off the Ts and the numerals and selling them as standard Essex Regiment S.Ts. A bit like filing the corners of 50p pieces to make 10p coins only more so.
