11th Bn. Border Regt. Is it a fake, a copy, or the real deal?
Good evening.
It's Friday. I have a cold(ahhhhhhh..!). I've had a long week dealing with idiots. So, in an idle moment I have a quick trawl. Oh, deep joy, look what I find. Now, I only do this because I love you all so much (and, because I just know I am going to enjoy watching this thread develop along predictable lines), so try this: http://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/au...earchitem=true Go on, you know you want to persuade yourselves it's genuine! The cash is just burning a hole in your pocket. You don't need to buy any reference books, or do any sensible research. It's hallmarked, so it must be genuine. It just screams "Buy me. Buy me." And so you do! Do people really buy this sort of rubbish? Laugh? I nearly died. Enjoy. S.T. PS. Blue touch paper now fully alight, and extinguisher on standby. And, I am fully protected by the enormous desk! PPS. Not mine. Nothing to do with me. And, I wouldn't touch it in a million lifetimes. |

I have no idea about the originality of the badge but the hallmark looks as if it is on a piece of metal which has been stuck on top of the back of the badge.
P.B. ( At least it is giving S.T. some amusement.)

It's FAKE! Please close the thread, and don't humour Trolls who have little to contribute other than than "Bragging"!! They must have a brain the size of a Planet just missing the "Ur"? Andy Last edited by 2747andy; 10-10-14 at 06:59 PM. |

Oi, you leave the earthworms alone, you'll be picking on the Badgers next!
(Earthworms are the Badgers favourite food and they can eat hundreds of worms in a night) |

I thought that threads, like this one turned in to, are against forum rules?
