I can't now open attached photos. if I click on them the screen goes black and freezes. And I would echo the previous posts about posts I have already read showing up as unread.

Jon

I'll turn the server software back one version and see what happens.

If the image above does not open, can you see it via its direct link?:

I have IE 11 on a PC with windows 7- getting the threads contain unread posts list- but the glitch where thumbnails don't open on first attempt- only on second- seems solved for me. Regards, Paul.

Black screen for me when I click on the image but it opens in a different window via the link.

Before the update, if there was more than one image, I had to cycle through them to get them to display anything other than a small black window. If it was a single image, I had to open it, close it & open it again to see it.

I'm using IE on Windows 7.

The 'lightbox' (thing that presents the images) never was 100%. Every now and again in the past it would fail. Not often though. This obviously looks like something different, a 'more severe' problem.

There are options on how images are presented. We can have them opening in a new window or tab.

Want to try that?

Works fine for me, just one click on the thumbnail photo and the big photo comes straight up (previously it used to be 2 clicks to get the picture).

Using internet explorer and windows 7.

Internet Expl 11 and win 7.

Click refresh, then image 9 out of 10 image appears, some time I have to go through the process twice.

My Grandson tells me that a lot on upgrades to 'things' are phone and tablet ordinated, lap tops and tower computers are old hat.

Over the years some things that have been "improved" have just been a pain in the arse. Maybe I am too set in my ways.
