"93" something...? Identification requested, please

For your sleuthing pleasure, I offer the enclosed button, which is unknown to me.

It is gilt finish, 25 mm diameter, number "93" on the front of it. On reverse, an impressed 8 pointed star. Fixed loop, not braised in place.
