Great War VTC

One to share, a group shot of a Cambridgeshire VTC unit in or around the Wisbech area. All apart from the young man seem well turned out with uniforms, he was probably the latest recruit as he only has a belt and bayonet.

None of them are wearing any medal ribbons, was it compulsory to wear ribbons from previous service?
