Royal Scots?
Firstly, thank you to those who helped with my last post. The Royal Scots badge feels ok, but what about those loops? I'd like some opinions please. The backs on the other two badges look as though someone has tried making a cast, as they are full of a clay type substance. The black watch one even has some kind of ink / dye on it. What do you think?

Billy,
your RS badge is rather modern however the other two appear much older, the "stuff" to the rear is metal polish residue from cleaning! Andy |

Andy. Is rather modern, a polite way of saying bent?

Billy,
this badge was in wear up until just a few years ago. Although the issued badges were in anodised aluminium from the 1950s onwards, bimetal badges such as yours could be purchased from Regimental shops and often worn .. although from the way your badge is constructed, I would be more likely to say it is as you put it "Bent!.. Hi Billy,
I've got a genuine war time R Scots removed from a FSC that is in need of a good home. Please PM me for details if you are interested. Regards to all. Ry |

Cheers Andy. It is rather tacky and came with the other two in a lot, which contained a badge I did want. Thanks Ry, but I don't need a RS mate.
