M.O.D Police Warrant Card Badge?

Hi asking for conformation on this M.O.D police badge I recently purchased. Seller also had it on a hat (police peak cap). Asked on a FB group and had 2 replies both stating warrant card badge. Again just asking on here to confirm. Thanks Martin

It is indeed a warrant holder badge.

Similar tabs on Metropolitan Police warrant card badges, where as Met cap badges all have loops or a single screw fixture for the women’s bowlers. So I’d agree this is highly likely a warrant card version of the MDP badge.

A Cambs warrant card holder badge, introduced around 2002 I think, I don't know how long they were issued for or if they still are.
The badge is far more ornate than the cap badge of the time.
It's held on to the leather by split double tangs as per the badge in post no. 1, I think by just the one fitting.
