Reasonably rare and very collectable - as worn in Italy in 1944/45. Mike

The cover of a potted history of 8 Indian Inf Div broadcast in June 1945. It concludes by pondering if, after the crossings of the Italian Rivers Sangro, Rapido, Senio, Arno and about 16 others, that they would find themselves in an assault crossing of the River Ara (which flows through the middle of Tokyo). Two members of the Division were awarded the VC - a 20 year old in 8th Punjab Regiment and a Rifleman in 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles.
