My latest book on the Military and Police Forces of the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Aden has just been published. It is published by Helion in the UK.
Based on the previous Armed Forces of South Arabian it has 32 new photos
and heaps of art work. It is called:

Hi Cliff.

This book is online with covers as volume 3 and 4 but there is also a volume 3 which has a different cover and a different subtitle (bahrain kuwait qatar). It's a bit confusing to me, maybe I am being dumb, is there more than one series of books?

I have found Vols 1, 2 and a volume for the smaller states on ebay. Not ordered yet as I want to make sure I am not doubling up on previous editions.

There was a but of confusion at Helion. I told them about the numbering but looks they did not take off the old numbers. The books that have been completed so far are:
Vol 1 Trucial States & United Arab Emirates
Vol 2 Oman
Vol 3 Aden & The Protectorates
Vol 4 Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. (Not published yet and only 90 percent finished).
Vol 5 Just started a book on the British in the Persian/Arabian Gulf.
