Reconnaissance Corps with POW plumes?
New one to me! Badge in question looks like a repro but was a badge like this ever authorised? Likely a spurious item but its good to get a consensus view.
Keep smiling, Dave https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296129673...Bk9SR-r-08uhYw

It's probably as genuine as the V Force cap badge and the slidered Derbyshire Regiment that the same seller is offering.
I believe that this seller and their wares may well have been discussed on this forum before..... Paul |

He is a militaria dealer who has sold a lot of faked badges put together to create fantasy ones. He went off the radar for a few years as he is an ex-jail bird following an ill advised attempt to smuggle in live ammunition from the continent a few years ago. Clearly they let him out.

I noticed he has 2 of the Nelson Naval regiment badges listed too - one would not expect to see two identical badges of a rare badge like this being offered like that! That alone would steer me off.

I saw this a while back, obvious fake Recce badge (the central shaft is thinner outside the central area than within) with fantasy addition of p of wales feathers emblem

A fantasy item. The main Recce Corps badge is a fake as mentioned.
