Formation Signs
This and several other combinations from the same source are, in my opinion, definitely in the caveat emptor category. Mike

On eBay - surely not?
Like the description - "in wartime condition". |

The West Lancs District example from this seller is not one I would add to my collection.

These are bad combination signs. This is a seller that knows the difference and I have purchased good badges from him in the years gone by. I will still trust him for the badges I recognise as good.

I have but it's not printable! The vast majority of 7 AA Div signs that have survived are (rather badly) printed or as a consequence of the poor printing been overstitched in red on the blue ground by some nimble-fingered ATS girl or some other lady. Mike

Many thanks, indeed all the examples I have (as per the attached) and have previously seen are printed, it is the first time I have seen what appears to be a mint woven example, hence my query. Last edited by guest123a; 21-07-15 at 06:42 PM. |

Utterly unconvincing. Sadly, I was in the Mont Ormel museum in Normandy last week and in one of their cases of "donated" material was something that looked equally as bad - certainly not wartime.
