Default Royal Tank Regiment 100

The special edition of The Formation Sign Journal of the Military Heraldry Society which commemorates 100 years of Britain's Tank Regiment will be available next week.

Its 48 pages describe and illustrate the uniform and insignia of the Royal Tank Regiment from its birth as the Heavy Branch Machine Gun Corps up to today.

Although normally only available to Society members a small number of copies of this Special Edition are being offered to non-members for £10 including UK postage. We will send copies overseas but as yet the postage cost outside Britain is not known.

If you are interested in reserving a copy PM me or contact the Society at militaryheraldrysociety@gmail.com

Any other question please PM me.

Jon

Looking forward to it Jon ... I think many members of the Forum would benefit from membership of The Military Heraldry Society - 'The formation Sign' is always a good read

To the overseas members of the MHS. Do we order off of the website or is it sent to all members similar to the Formation Sign?

Thanks
Jack

Jack,

If you are already an overseas member of the Society you will receive your copy in due course.

If you require extra copies - for which there is a charge - please contact the Treasurer at militaryheraldrysociety@gmail.com who will advise costs inc postage.

RTR 100 - It's strongly recommended - get extra copies - they will become collectors' items in their own right.

Jon - usual dropping off point for the plain brown envelope will be OK. Mike

Sorry, run out of brown envelopes. Plastic bag in the usual tree stump.

Well done on a superb production - quality research and superbly illustrated. It is useful to have so much information collated in a single user friendly document. I have already solved a couple of mysteries that bugged me for years ... and I have only just skimed through it. An essential addition to the library for anyone who values military research.
