RAMC sweetheart
Hi all,
Random find from yesterday - a silver RAMC sweetheart- a soldiers head. Any idea of the period and how common it is? I really like the design, a reason why I picked it up. Thanks, Timo

Morning Timo.I spend many hours a week/internet/or out & about looking at military brooches. The design of your brooch is not common.IMO the brooch is WW1 period. The figure that still has his head is wearing a Broderick? so some on here might feel it is from a period prior to this. The retaining "C" clasp is perhaps a replacement?.Thank you for showing Gary

Hi,
The Registry Design Number 655759 would pitch it at 1916. This of course would be the earliest possible date of manufacture. Trev. |
