Hello, I was wondering if any fellow members could kindly help me with and information ( Ringway etc, etc ) relating to Paratrooper D J Jordan service number 4104344 . Many Thanks .

All I can say is that with his number of 4104344 he was firstly in the Herefordshire Regiment.

Their number "block" ran from 4103001 to 4114000.

I Know that he was RSM D J " Mick " Jordan ( Donald Joseph Jordan ) can anyone please tell me anything more of his time at Arnhem, I have the following info from Pegasus archive and that is where my knowledge stops

I would say that he was with the 1st Battalion, The Herefordshire Regt, as he does not appear in unit records for the 2nd Battalion. That service number would put his enlistment in the pre-war years, possibly 1934-1938.
