Arm Badge
Hi, Please can anyone help me identify the arm badge on my Grandad's uniform. 1st World War, maybe the Staffordshire Regiment?

On the left sleeve is a brass vertical bar - a wound stripe signifying that he has been wounded and the photo is in the second half of the war after the stripe was authorised. The inverted chevron is for good conduct and signifies 2 years of service without being subject to disciplinary action. On the right arm he has a wreath trade badge - possibly with an L for Lewis machine gunner. It's a bit blurred to be certain.

Its actually LG in a wreath, its just twisted on the sleeve.
L is for Gun Layer in the Royal Artillery. regards

But the shoulder title is for the infantry and not RA? It does appear to be a candidate for the curved STAFFORD title.

Like I said above its LG in a wreath, not L.
