Mike, have you done a burn test? I'm almost certain these are of fairly modern manufacture.

These were made en-masse in the 90s for kids clothes as a fashion cum dressing up box thing. The stitching is 100% nothing like a genuine set of wings, think these came on super thin material too and the stitching is also as thin. These came in 100% size and 175% size (they're huge, and SAS wings came in them too). Sorry.

The wings are not thin, I know the ones your talking about, I don't think these are the same. Thread does not melt, it burns.
