Cast Artillery Badge
Hi.
I found this today at a local Car boot sale. Is this just a copy or is it possibly an Indian cast version from WW2? The slider has broken off; this looks to have originally been lead soldered in place. Thanks. Mike. |

It is a copy,
BUT, a contemporaneous copy, locally made, in theatre, in places such as India or Egypt and other areas. Typical of a such examples which date back to pre- WW1. regards

Thanks Simon.
I don't suppose there is anyway to age it, like the method in which the slider was attached?? |

I think the solder is a later addition to re affix the slider which broke off, so no.
