Default Going round in circles...............

I think that I might be going mad...........

I have been away for a few days, but before I left, there was a thread concerning Gaunt maker marked badges to the Machine Gun Corps that I am sure that I made a post in. I did look in on it whilst away and there was some mention of this mark perhaps being something to do with badges issued to New Zealand MGC, but I didn't reply as I was on my mobile. However, I can not for the life of me find it now..... Can someone help me locate it please?

I imagine the chap in the Gaunt Factory badge despatch department thought it was quite mad that he could not send maker marked badges to the British Army MGC but he could to the New Zealand MGC or was that the Canadian one???

Or imagine the pointlessness of taking the time to mark badges that did not need to be marked at all as they were for domestic use and not for export to Imperial forces.

Far more efficient to only waste precious man hours and money marking only the Imperial badges that needed to be marked.
